Frequently Asked Questions

What is Sigma Epsilon Omega?

Sigma Epsilon Omega is a fraternity that was established in 2007 at the University of California, Berkeley, and is still the only existing gay fraternity in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Why should I join a fraternity?

Becoming a member of any fraternity will help in the personal development of young men’s social, professional, and leadership skills. Joining a fraternity will not only enrich your college experience, but also will provide members with lifelong friendship and camaraderie.

Does Sigma Epsilon Omega do any community service or philanthropy?

Yes definitely! We are constantly looking for ways to give back to our community and have exciting plans for this semester. In the past we have helped organizations such as Project Open Hand and Dance Marathon. You see more about our philanthropy events here.
